What You're Actually Wearing

Peta continues to change the fashion industry in efforts to save these tortured animals. Releasing countless advertisements and videos we all try to avoid. In this article, I will be explaining the mindless purchases everyone buys and revealing what they actually are. Between designer handbags to beautiful sweaters, let's dive into how they truly begin.

Warm Wool Sweaters

These sweaters are a no thinker when it comes to winter. Although most people don't see the terrors behind it. Put it this way, if you felt it was okay to have your dog tortured for a coat, then go ahead.

What's the difference between these two animals shown? One is free to live a life without torture, while the other is used solely for its coat. If more people realize the torture behind these sweaters, I genuinely believe the sales would decrease. Many are in denial and brainwashed to believe its okay, due to tradition. The more knowledge this community can spread, we can put an end to animal cruelty.

Designer Handbags

These bags are the latest in today's fashion. They're adorable and pretty irresistible. Although if you're like me, I love animals more than handbags and that reflects my purchases. So, what is it made of anyway? Well, many animals are harmed in the handbag industry. Including lambs, cows, snakes and more. These are all living beings, being exploited for thousands and thousands of dollars. It's a cruel slave trade of animals being sold for profit while being tortured in the process.

Specifically, cows are tortured endlessly for the forever growing leather market. They skin these innocent animals alive for your multi-thousand dollar purse.

This happy lamb has no idea it'll be exploited for an even higher profit than a cow's leather. Lamb leather has become a luxurious product in the fashion industry.

Snakes are vicious to many people, yet they are just an animal. The expulsion of snake skin began when runways began to use the skin for high fashion clothing articles.

I question everyone to read the title of the article featured above. "Major Trends You'll Love," can somebody explain how in our modern society we wear animals as a trend?

Is it really worth it?

Next time you walk into a clothing store, think about what you're actually buying. The more these products prosper, the more animals suffer.
